This place is pretty hit or miss you have to come with your paperwork in order, I had a title transfer with a tiny tiny typo and they told me I would need a notary and a new title all sorts of confusion but I went somewhere else and got it done the same day no problems but then today I got a new window sticker in less than 5 minutes so pretty decent just kinda hit or miss also some chick in front of me looked pretty frustrated with the staff before she stormed out of there she was pretty cute lol

Frequently Asked Questions

Insurance Related Questions

What's the Difference between full coverage and liability?

The main difference between liability and full coverage car insurance is that liability insurance pays those you may harm in an auto accident. Full coverage includes collision and comprehensive insurance coverage, so your car is also covered. Another difference is that most states mandate liability car insurance to register a car. No states require you to purchase full coverage.

Do I have to have auto insurance?

Yes. In all 50 states, you’re legally required to have auto insurance. Driving without vehicle insurance is a crime and may result in a financial fine, a suspension of your license or even jail time. If your insurance expires, you’re not legally allowed to drive a car until you have an active policy again.

What does car insurance cover?

Car insurance typically covers bodily injury, property damage, and medical expenses for others involved in an accident. It also covers damage to your own vehicle in collisions and non-collisions, such as theft or vandalism.

What factors affect car insurance rates?

Your driving record, age, gender, location, and vehicle type can all influence your car insurance premium. Younger drivers and males usually pay higher premiums, while living in areas with high crime rates or heavy traffic can increase your premium.

Can I get discounts on car insurance?

Yes, many insurance companies offer discounts for bundling policies, having a clean driving record, or enrolling in a safe driving program. Completing a defensive driving course can also lead to savings.

What happens if I don’t get auto insurance?

If you get in an accident and are uninsured, you could face legal consequences, financial loss, and even jail time.

How long does it take to get an insurance quote?

Getting an auto insurance quote can take as little as five minutes.

What age do rates go down?

Rates for drivers aged 25 and older typically decrease as they age.

Title Related Questions

What is a Bonded Title?

A bonded title, also known as a Certificate of Title Surety Bond or Lost Title Bond, is a document that establishes who owns a car. A bonded title can be used instead of a traditional car title to register a vehicle with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), get insurance for the vehicle, or sell the vehicle.  Bonded titles are available in most states for a variety of vehicles, including automobiles, buses, motorhomes, and motorcycles.

Why does this vehicle have a bonded title?

When a car title is lost or damaged, there is no way to verify that the person in charge of the car was the lawful owner. Because they wouldn’t be able to transfer the title ordinarily, they’d have to go through the procedure of obtaining a bonded title, which would include purchasing a surety bond

How Long does it take to receive?

It takes no more then a week.

Do I get a Blue Title?

Yes, it just says bonded.

How much is a Bonded Title?

It’s based on the purchase amount and value of the vehicle.

Bail Bond Related Questions

What is a bail bond and how does it work?

A bail bond is a contract that allows a defendant to be released from jail while their case is pending. Instead of paying the full bail amount set by the court, you pay a percentage to a licensed bail bonds company. We post the bond on your behalf, and the defendant is released as long as they attend all required court dates.

What's the difference between bail and bond?

Bail is the total amount of money the court requires for a defendant to be released. Bond is a guarantee made by a bail bonds company that the defendant will appear in court. By using a bond, you only pay a fraction of the full bail amount.

How much does a bail bond cost in Bexar County?

We start as low as 3% down, but approval depends on the defendant’s criminal history. Not every case qualifies for 3%. After the down payment, we set up affordable monthly payments depending on the remaining balance.

Do you offer payment plans for bonds?

Yes. We offer flexible payment plans with a low down payment (starting at 3% for qualified defendants) and monthly installments to help families manage costs.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept major debit/credit cards, cash, money orders, and cashier’s checks.

How long does it take to get someone out of jail after a bond is posted?

Release times vary depending on how busy the jail is. In Bexar County, it typically takes 12-24 hours after we post the bond for the defendant to be processed and released.

What happens if the defendant misses a court date?

Missing court is very serious. The court can issue a warrant for the defendant’s arrest, and the co-signer may be held responsible for the full bail amount. If something comes up, it’s important to contact us immediately so we can help resolve the situation.

Can I get a refund on my bond premium?

No. Bail bond premiums are non-refundable by law, even if the case is dismissed or charges are dropped.

What information do I need before I call for a bond?

It helps to have the defendant’s full name, date of birth, booking number (if available), and the jail where they’re being held.

Can you bond someone out if they're in another county?

No. We only provide bail bonds in Bexar County.

Where is the Bexar County Jail located?

The Bexar County Adult Detention Center is located at: 200 North Comal, San Antonio, TX 78207.

What's the process for bonding someone out of the Bexar County Jail?

Once you contact us, we’ll collect the necessary information, payment, and cosigner paperwork. We then post the bond with the jail. After processing, the defendant will be released, typically within 12-24 hours.

Do you handle blue warrants in Bexar County?

No. Blue warrants (parole violation warrants) cannot be bonded. The defendant must wait to see the parole board.

What happens if the defendant has a hold (SATF, ICE, probation, parole, etc.)?

If a defendant has a hold, they may not be released even after a bond is posted. We’ll check the system for any holds before moving forward to make sure you know the situation up front.

How do I find out if someone is in jail in Bexar County?

You can search online using the Bexar County Jail inmate search or call the jail directly at (210) 335-6219.

Do you bond for federal or immigration cases in San Antonio?

No. We only handle state and county bonds in Bexar County.

Can you bond someone out of Bexar County Jail if they also have charges in another county?

No. If there are active charges or holds in another county, we cannot post bond until those are resolved.

What are the defendant's responsibilities after being released on bond?

The defendant must attend all scheduled court dates, stay in compliance with all court-ordered conditions, and keep in contact with both the court and our office.

Do you provide reminders for court dates?

Yes. We send reminders to help ensure defendants don’t miss their court dates.
